Theres a trope in medicine that doctors only have three ways of dealing with cancer: cutting (surgery), burning (radiation), and poisoning (chemotherapy). Oncologists have long sought a fourth pathusing the bodys own immune system to attack tumorsbut progress has been very, very slow.
