Ovarian cancer walkathons raise funds, awareness about disease
Before her close friend was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, Janice Carey had never even heard of the disease. Today, she has helped to raise thousands of dollars to fight the illness that nearly 25,000 women face and 15,000 women die from each year.
