Allos treatment receives 'orphan' status in Europe
Biopharmaceutical company Allos Therapeutics Inc. said Thursday the European Commission has granted its experimental cancer drug pralatrexate "orphan" drug status for the treatment of a certain type of lymphoma -- which would give the company 10 years of market exclusivity of the product is approved.
