MORE than 14,000 new cases and 6,357 deaths due to breast cancer are expected to occur every year in the country, according to the Department of Health (DOH). In Metro Cebu, 300 women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year and about 150 die because they were diagnosed only during stage 3 or 4 of the disease.
