Default Lived for his family, worked to raise funds for research



After native Chicagoan Louis Alan Berger learned he had incurable brain cancer at age 49, he chose to aid others afflicted with the illness by helping raise $250,000 for brain cancer research.He also chose to live the remainder of his life the way he lived before his diagnosis -- focused on family.
