Im lucky to be alive
LYNDA Cooper didnt know it, but she was born with a high risk of developing bowel cancer. Her father died of the disease when he was in his 40s, as did her grandfather, but back then, in the 1970s, doctors told the family it was just an unlucky coincidence.
