Joe Paterno's cause and time of death released by Mount Nittany Medical Center

Former Penn State football coach Joe Paterno died today of "metastatic small cell carcinoma of the lung," Mount Nittany Medical Center announced in a statement this morning. Paterno, college football's winningest coach, passed away at 9:25 this morning at the age of 85.
